VLTOR Weapon Systems MUR-1A Upper Receiver - Assembled - Black
The MUR-1A is an enhanced Mil-Spec flat-top upper made to fit all AR15/M16 M4 rifles and carbines.
The MUR-1A, with shell deflector and a forward assist, was developed to give the customer a Mil-Spec correct upper receiver with a thicker receiver wall -- making the MUR upper receiver a stronger platform. This more rigid upper receiver will increase accuracy and reliability, while extending the life of the interfacing components.
The Vltor MUR is machined from a 7075 Aluminum forging made to exacting standards. Before the forgings are machined, these uppers are stress relieved, heat treated, and cryogenically treated to ensure extreme durability.
The Vltor MUR is guaranteed to be 100% dimensionally correct, as these uppers are made on precision machining equipment and then checked for final accuracy.
