Surefire Warden Fast-Attach Blast Regulators

The Surefire Warden Blast Diffuser is an attachment to your Surefire SOCOM series muzzle devices. The Warden is like other blast shields and linear compensators, in that it traps and redirects the concussion from the muzzle blast and helps pitch it forward downrange.  This effect is most noticeable on the SOCOM Muzzle Brake and Warcomps.

The redirect of concussion minimizes blast to the sides of the shooter and helps mitigate your dust signature when firing in the prone position.  Wardens are also useful as a fascimile to train with additional weight on the muzzle end of the firearm.  Adding just over 8 ounces, about half the weight of a Surefire RC2 SOCOM suppressor.  Additionally, there are a few suppressor companies that offer the service to cut the Wardens at the collar so you can adapt SOCOM suppressor mounts to different suppressors.
