SIONICS Weapon Systems Chrome Lined - Medium Contour Carbine-Length REDUCED PORT Barrel - Stripped -11.5in

SIONICS Barrels are manufactured from CMV 4150 Ordnance Steel. All Barrels are Radiograph and MPI tested. This Reduced Port barrel is made specifically to run as a host barrel with a gun that will be primarily suppressed. The reduced port is smaller than standard 11.5" barrels and will not cycle .223 and most 5.56 aummunition without a suppressor.

The reasoning is to eliminate tuneable gas blocks, carriers, and other options that add complexity to the operating system -- in an effort to reduce the commiserate increase in carrier speed from suppressed fire, as well as the increased blowback
