The SOF Tourniquet is considered the best tourniquet in use by MIL/LEO groups, preferred often even to the CAT tourniquet.  Seek out proper use and training when implementing a tourniquet and medical equipmentp.  Additionally, always practice the four rules of firearms safety.  If firearms are present and in use, a Triage Kit should be kept nearby.
