Hodge Defense Systems bolt carrier groups are no frills, black nitrided bolt carrier groups made to Jim Hodge's specs -- which mirror MILSPEC standards. Now featuring Chrome carrier keys, properly stake, and an 8-point individual inspection, signed by a certified armorer -- each BCG undergoes stringent QC and test fire.
The bolt material is 9310, when manufactured and heat treated correctly is actually slightly stronger than MILSPEC bolts. These bolts are manufactured correctly.
