Dead Air Armament Silencers 5.56 Flash Hider - 1/2x28 TPI

Note: This excellent flash hider and suppressor mount works with all standard AR-15 style barrels with shoulders to index on.  For ultra-thin barrels, or barrels without shoulders, please use the SCAR specific variant

The Dead Air Armament Flash Hider is both a flash hider and suppressor mount for the Sandman series of suppressors.  With a unique patent pending design featuring mass shifted equal lenght tines.  The purpose and end result was to eliminate the "ping" when using open tine flash hiders.  

At 2.7" in length, the Dead Air Flash Hider is also compatible with barrels as short as 13.7" barrels, that when pinned and welded will make the barrel just over 16" overall length.  This gives you the shortest possible host weapon for attaching your Sandman suppressor, without paying for a second tax stamp to have a Short Barreled Rifle upper receiver.
