MASH Hooks are a robust alternative to HK Snap Hooks and provide fast and secure sling attachment for weapons with larger eyelets, such as those found on AK pattern firearms.  Squeeze the center tabs together to seperate the arms of the MASH hook, similar to a key ring, this provides rock solid sling mounting. 

The 1" slot accomodates slings up to that width.
