Ballistic Advantage Performance Hanson Profile - 5.56 Barrel - w/ .750 In Gas Block
Ballistic Advantage's propietary "Hanson" profile is unique in the barrel market. Without machining a "shoulder" (a steep drop or angle cut into the outer diameter of the barrel,) Ballistic Advantage Hanson barrels symmetrically limit barrel whip.
Barrel whip, which can be seen on high speed videos of rifles and carbines firing, is when the barrel heats up and begins to flex and whip during firing. Barrel whip effects accuracy and traditionally the only way to minimuze barrel whip was to construct a heavy, or bull, barrel. The Hanson profile maintains a slim contour than heavy or bull barrels without adding that excess weight. Ballistic Advantage has a 1 Minute of Angle (MOA) guarantee on their barrels when using match grade ammo.
Ideal for a RECCE or hard use rifle, the Hanson barrels by Ballistic Advantage are a premium barrel at a budget price. With prices as low as $165 for a 7.5" barrel (all ship with a BA Lo-Pro Gas Block) -- the list of features is impressive with the added benefits of superior corrosion protection as compared to parkerized barrels for an incredible price.

Important Notes on Barrel Length:
Barrels shorter than 16" must be a registered SBR, AOW or in some cases can be configured for use on an AR pattern pistol. OR in the case of the 13.7 - 14.5" barrels must have a permanently attached muzzle device. This can be a suppressor, flash hider, or muzzle brake depending on the laws of your municipality and state. Confirm your local laws before purchasing. We offer gunsmithing to attach muzzle devices and assemble the upper receivers.
