Mil-Spec AR-15 Bolt Carrier Gas Key

This mil-spec AR-15 Carrier Gas Key is to replace worn gas keys or for assembling stripped carriers for use. Pair with Ned Christiansen's OCKS to fully upgrade worn out carrier keys or for swapping on a BCG that was not stake properly.  A carrier key that becomes misaligned when the keys walk out (when not properly staked) can cause a catastrophic failure.

Replacing your carrier key and screws is part of proper PMCS (Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services) when you find it is misaligned. Look for damage around the opening of the carrier key or damage to the gas tube. You may need to check and reinstall the gas tube itself.

This Gas Key is Manganese Phosphate Finish and Chrome Lined.
