Arisaka Defense Inline Scout Mount - M-LOK
The Arisaka Inline Scout Mount is designed to specifically for Surefire M300 and M600 Scout Weapon Lights. By replacing the stock picatinny rail adapter with a low profile mount, you save weight and bring the weapon light into a more ergonomic position. Utilize the 45 degree angle mounting flats on popular rails like the BCM KMR, KAC URX 4, or the Geissele SMR Mk8. Just to name a few. The length of the Inline Scout Mount can be used in a cantilever fashion, giving your light a more extended position on shorter rail systems. Due note, Arisaka has tested their Inline Scout Mount with a variety of BUIS systems. Read below to ensure there will be no fitment issues with how you intend to utilize the Inline Scout Mount with your BUIS: Compatibility with front sights varies depending on mounting location on handguards with 45 degree flats: 1. Top left 45 degree flat: Most sights work, including MBUS Pro, Knight's Armament Micro, Troy folding, and Diamondhead. MBUS Gen II work if positioned to allow clearance for the release tab. 2. Top right 45 degree flat: Due to the asymmetrical body of the Surefire Scout Light®, placement of the front sight and light are more critical in this setup. The smaller sights like MBUS Pro and Knight's Armament Micro work fine, but the Troy, Diamondhead, and MBUS Gen II will not be able to clear the main body where the screw holes reside for the stock picatinny adapter. This means one or the other will have to be moved forward/back to get appropriate clearance. The longer battery cavity in the M600 makes this easier since the front sight can easily sit beside the light body in this area. Another option is to use the new Arisaka 300 Series Light Body, which will allow plenty of clearance Weighing a scant 0.6oz, made of CNC machined 6061 aluminum with a type III hard coat anodized finish. Mounting hardware included.
