The AirBoss Low Burden Mask (LBM) provides the ultimate in respiratory protection. It offers the best balance of operational ability, comfort and protection. The LBM is one of the lightest military respirators available and offers optimum weight distribution as well as minimal breathing resistance -- in use by the Canadian Armed Forces, the Australian Ministry of Defense, as well as being rapidly adopted by US Law Enforcement Agencies across the country!

The LBM ships with an installed Clear Insert visor.  Airboss LBMs should be paired with an Outsert in order to protect the optical clarity of the insert.  Select optional Sun, Yellow, Clear, or Laser Outserts to double the ballistic protection and protect the insert from scratches and damage. 

Pair with at least 1 filter, purchase surplus filters for long-term storage, and/or upgrade with a battery powered Voice Projection Unit!

We also stock Airboss Gas Mask bags and Sizing charts. We strongly encourage you to purchase a sizing kit with your purchase to ensure your mask will fit BEFORE you open your gas mask.

The Airboss Defense Low Burden Mask (LBM) Outserts are an essential add-on for your Low Burden Mask.  All Airboss LBMs are sealed with a clear optical insert, but to prevent damage to this insert, you should equip a quick attach Outsert.

Reminder:

There are no returns/exchanges on open LBMs.  These masks come vacuum sealed from the factory and exposure to air and oils on our skin begins to slowly degrade the material and effective seal on the masks.  Service life is about 5 years if properly stored, 15 years if left in packaging
