VLTOR Weapon Systems Set Screw Gas Block - .750'', Stainless Steel

Details

The Vltor Low-Profile Gas Block covers one-inch of the barrel's surface and is made to the tightest tolerance. These gas blocks are offered in two materials, 4140 carbon steel and 17−4PH stainless steel. The 4140 gas blocks are manganese phosphate (black finish) to match barrels with similar finish. The stainless steel gas blocks are blasted to give a matte gray finish.

.625'' (Pecil Barrel):

This VLTOR gas block is designed to work with .625" outside diameter barrels. The profile of .625" barrels are commonly referred to as "pencil" barrels, and have become increasingly popular as people have realized the benefits of lightweight barrels. This lightweight gas block helps cut the overall weight of the weapon system as well!

.750'' (Standard Barrel):

This VLTOR gas block is designed to work with .750" outside diameter barrels. The profile of .750" barrels are referred to as standard barrels.

**This gas block is held in place with two set screws and can also be professionally pinned by a qualified gun smith.

Total junk

First problem was the roll pin was not an easy task, finally got it seated in enough to function. Second, I started the first set screw in, and it locked up right before protruding the inside of block. Tried to remove set screw and it WILL NOT come out! Literally twisted allen key trying to remove. Out of curiosity I started the second screw in, and again it started locking up about halfway into the hole. All in all I'm out of money for this gas block and a gas tube due to this roll pin not coming out now. Very very terrible experience.
