SIONICS Barrels are manufactured from CMV 4150 Ordnance Steel and is made by a military contract manufacturer for barrels. These barrels use the same steel, chrome lining, and MILSPEC parkerized finish used on military spec rifles, but these barrel dimensions are optimized for precision and durability. Made exclusively for SIONICS, the straight, "medium" profile on this barrel makes this ideal for a rifle which requires exceptional accuracy, or will see extended full auto fire.
The 16" Mid-Length Gas System barrels are considered by many to be the best choice for an all around general purpose carbine.
