Scalarworks LEAP/06 30mm Flip-to-Side Magnifier Mount

Scalarworks LEAP/06 30mm Magnifier Mount is engineered to be the lightest, QD capable Magnifier mount on the market -- without compromising strength.  At 68% the weight of the Aimpoint Mount -- the Scalarworks design is a cut above.

Machined from 7075 aluminum and using high quality 4140H steel fasteners -- the LEAP/06 is as robust as it is light.  The LEAP/06 is designed to have a shorter throw than other flip-to-side magnifiers, this helps with weapon balance and deployment speed.  Scalarworks implements opposing 4mm ball detents acting against Black Nitrided Chromoly steel plates for positive locking in the open and closed positions.

The signature curve found on Scalarworks dual-ring optic mounts is seen here, the recessed curve increases strength while being lighter in weight.  The precision fitted hinge ensure even pressure around the optic, reducing slip when centering.  The wide ring, with oversized CNC machined shoulder screws provide structural rigidity and more clamping surface than competing rings.  

Finally, the patented ClickDrive QD mechanism is intuitive, and completely recoil proof.  The optic can be removed in seconds.  The recessed wheel means no protruding levers, bolts or knobs -- reducing snag.
