Reptilia Corp. DOT Mounts for Trijicon MRO 1.93in Height - Black

The 1.93" DOT Mount by Reptilia is a lightweight, slim-line mounting solution for a variety of red dot optics.  Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with Milspec Type III hard anodized finish, the 1.93 DOT Mount attaches to any M1913 Picatinny rail to place the optical axis at 1.93 inches above the rail.

Tall mounts, like the 1.93" height are popular for maintaining a chin weld and a more relaxed shooting posture when shooting on the move, standing, or from unconventional cover positions.  Less applicable for prone position, the 1.93 mounts also favor use with masks or night vision, which bring the optics closer to the line of sight when wearing more head gear.   

The spring-loaded nitrided steel clamp and mounting bolt simplify the installation process, and sit flush with the body of the mount for a low-profile, anti-snag design.  The slim design reduces weight, weighing only 1.59 oz.  Steel components are Nitrided 4140 steel for hardness and corrosion resistance.
