Developed with input from Kyle Defoor, a highly decorated military veteran, American sportsman, and professional firearms instructor. The Defoor sight sets are rugged and simple. Designed with speed and accuracy in mind, with a balanced front blade and rear notch. The 90 degree angles draw the eye in, and the serrations reduce glare in bright light. Plain black sights present the simplest, high contrast sight picture for when ambient light is available.

The thinner Front Blade Width allows for plenty of light transmission on either side of the blade, allowing for more precision and the sights obscure and cover less of a distant target. These sights are better suited to very seasoned shooters who have refined their pistol shooting and are able to engage 15-25 yards (or greater) accurately with their pistol.
